Things that make you go Hmmm...

This sign is on the little church that shares a parkign lot with Taco Star...

Isn't it bad enough to have to sit through church without it being 'Non-Charismatic'? That David Hines Pastor dude just puts it right out there, huh?

Other activities will include corn holing...

What?!?! I don't know what 'corn holing' is, but it'll be happening this Saturday at Foam Fest in Colorado Springs at Antlers Park.

Details here

Rumor has it there will a couple of fellers in dresses and the dragon may make an appearance as well. Festivities start at 1:00 pm.

"How much money do I have?

I need to buy a new guitar".

Overheard my 10 year old niece muttering this to herself while she was hammering away at Slow Ride on Guitar Hero...

Pavement sucks... but there's beer at the end.

Running...uh, jogging AWAY from a Brewery seems kinda retarded, especially one like Trinity Brewing Company, but that's exactly what I did Monday night. I met jt over at Trinity for a scouting run for the upcoming Monday night gigs there.

I got to meet the owner of Trinity, Todd, who ran with us. Actually, they ran and I struggled along behind. Pretty cool little route, especially for being on pavement. Admittedly, I whined about the pavement initially and then the rain, but wanker was kind enough to point out that I hadn't run at all on Sunday. Ok, I'll shut up.

Good 'jog' and I got to try the new Farmhouse #97, Saisson afterwards. Yummy stuff!

Brownie, yer doin' a heckuva job...

Congrats to jt for finishing the Leadville 100 miler run last weekend in less than 25 hours, earning himself a big ass belt buckle. Although, I'm not sure how he'll ever wear it, since I think I've seen him in pants that had belts loops like twice?

You can read his race report here. They're always a good read.

Scenery was fantastic, but the company was even better - spent the whole weekend tooling around with Katie and seeing Leadville and surrounding area. Visited the Manhatten Bar and the Silver Dollar, where we were treated to a truly effed up mimosa, but at least the guy comped us for it. Leadville is a cool place - I want to re-visit!

Got to see some Dallas NTTR peeps that were pacing a Denver runner, which was cool.

Couple pics to follow soon...
